A precious book for kids of all ages. A reminder of the precarious human condition and our need to be connected.
I purchased Rosie when it was first published. It is a lovely, tender and caring book, one I keep in my bedroom next to my bed with my dear books.

This is a "must have" in your book collection. I've owned a copy since its first publication and have read it to my daughter while she was growing up. The message conveyed in Pink Rosie is timeless and essential.
I was lucky to have received a signed copy of the first addition of this book. As time has gone by and our lives have compressed to keeping those items we cherish the most, this is one I have hung on to. The message is simple and one that every parent should make sure they instill into their children. Be kind, thoughtful and never give up on dreams. Every day is a journey, enjoy and embrace the life you have been given.. And as the inscription says.. Friends are the Roses Bloomin' Wonderful.
Though Pink Rosie is a children's book. like all fine classics, it's message of love, kindness and self acceptance is ageless. I have shared it with my grand children, but was careful to keep a copy myself. It's just the right size for a quick time out and attitude adjustment! Pink Rosie is an oasis of beauty in a world rife with both beauty and so many other things. Indulge yourself!
The author was kind enough to give me one of the first issues of this book to give to my grandchildren. It is a profound and easy to understand ode to humanity that is easily translatable to any age or level of experience. It belongs in the library of every child.
