This is a good crime story that finally is on the market. The bad guys go down slowly. The characters in the story were very smart and did things by the book. Good for them. The story was exciting and sad at the same time, innocent people!e in the wrong place at the wrong time. I give this story 5 stars , Ted is a good author. If you are looking for a fast paced book this is the one you will want to read.I enjoyed all the characters in the book, and all the excitement that went along with it.
I just wonder how many times a day people make mistakes and sell the wrong locker!

If you love a fast paced and no beating around the bush crime novel this is it. Ted Nulty takes you on a thrilling journey from the opening line. This journey revolves around a drug cartel, former military personnel, and lots of money. Who knew purchasing a locker for charity could lead to the battle of the Stanford's lives. This book explores how people react when life is no longer laid out. It also test how you respond when someone puts a target on your back. Answering the question will you be the hunter or the hunted?
Absolutely loved this suspenseful story from the opening pages. Would have never picked the book up if I had not heard about it from a guy in California. My friend and I got to talking about books with him and he mentioned he wrote one. Of course I was intrigued and said I would check it out and asked him his name. It was Ted Nulty himself. So glad we ran into him, because this is one of the best reads I have had this year. This book will not disappoint anyone who picks it up! Looking forward to reading more of his work.
This is an easy read and a page turner. It reminded me of Lethal Weapon movies that are action-packed with a bit of humor. Everyone in my book club liked it. The writing is full of imagery. I felt like I could see the scene unfurl in front of me as I was reading.
If it were possible for me to give this book more than five stars I would! First from a literary perspective the book is well written with great character development, it follows a logical path and dose not have filler or fluff. Secondly the story line is very believable nothing is over done or unrealistic, at the same time there is never a lull in the book. I got the book today at 1000 and finished it at 500 I could not put it down! If you are looking for a non stop patriotic non political book this is it! OUT F------ STANDING!
I loved Ted's "Gone Feral" books, but wasn't sure what I would think of "The Locker" from just the description. I couldn't put it down, once I started reading it. I was coming home after a 16 hour shift, only to spend an hour of my 8 hours off, reading this book!
Ted took a concept popularized by "Storage Wars", threw in a little "What If", added a dash of "Cartel Members" and threw in some good ol' fashioned Southern California Ministry (taking used furniture and clothing down to Mexico), and concocted an unlikely, yet weirdly entertaining story of bad-assery!
This is a MUST READ!
I started reading this last night and the first thing I did when I woke up was turn on my to continue. I was so glad I don't work on Saturday because I couldn't put it down. I have spent the entire day doing nothing but reading The Locker; it was that good! I was even shooing my husband when he was talking while I was reading. I loved Ted's Gone Feral but I think I even liked this better. Great book that I would highly recommend. Keep up the great work Ted!
Ted Nulty does a great job of Character introduction in a concise way that enables the story to continue to flow. And flow this book does!
i have to read in chunks when I can find time and I was able to move through this book at a rapid pace, mainly because I had a hard time putting it down. The story moves quickly and keeps your attention from chapter to chapter in a way that makes you want to continue reading even when time doesn't allow for it.
For Ted's first novel, very well written and I hope that he will continue the trend with future projects.

This book is a roller coaster ride and I think someone will ultimately make a movie out of this because this book is chalked full of action from the onstart. The main characters are good retired military personnel who have integrity but that trait is ignored by the cartel drug operators in the story who obviously are not too familar with that trait. This changes the viewpoint of the story from one of people being victimized by cartels to one of people standing up against injustice by using theri knowledge and resources. The book is fast paced and an easy read making the reader root for the good guys. If you are in the military or law enforcement (current or former), the author has done a tremendous job linking accurate behavior and attitudes intertwined with the story and plot. Some expected casulties, some unexpected, make this book a great read for anyone who likes relatable characters and action in an enviornment where doing the right thing takes precedent over the negative actions of those who do harm for profit.
